I just got done beating Hades with each of the 3 weapon types, so I can confirm that the game is beatable with any of them. For attacking flying enemies, if using a Sword or Staff you need to take into account the 0.5 second delay between clicking and actually attacking, which means you have to attack flying enemies by clicking and then pressing W/Up Arrow, while with Daggers you can just basically use an auto-clicker. Having a high movement speed is also very helpful for attacking them from behind, so I would suggest equipping the Merkurius Ring and learning the Ignis Witchcraft called Nimble Footsteps. All ground enemies you can just run past, so the movement speed will allow to avoid ALL non-flying enemies attacks except for the rhinos which can be OHKO with any weapon. Finally, for Hades just keep defeating enemies and then getting near enough to use your special ability and then run away for an easy win.
I agree with skroog. Jumping 2-3 times in place and then moving a tiny bit makes the game easy. The only stage this won't work on is the last stage before the Light, where you have to run all the way down and then run back up.
@Zittarrix: You need the "Eye of the Beholder" artifact from the last event boss to be able to see hidden gems. If you do have it, then the hidden gems will appear as blinking light in a random location for about 10 seconds. Also, the hidden gems ONLY have a CHANCE of spawning while doing normal progression. They will not appear if you quit a boss and farm the minions.
Ok, enough with the swearing people. You could also give a description of why it is a bad game instead of making puns using swear words, so people know what bad things to expect in the game. Speaking of which, the main thing that is wrong with this game can be summarized with this: EXCESSIVE GRINDING.
@JackVermicelli: I don't see a bank, but the museum and shop DO show the money you have on the lower-right side of the screen. In fact, I think it shows it on every screen except the Hero upgrade screen.
Wow, I was having so much fun with the Training Room Mini-games that I got the Eye of the Crow Badge which is Medium before I got the Gladiator Eradicator Badge which is Easy. Great game, 5/5 Stars it looks like I'll be rating it when I complete the game at this rate.
Three things to say to all players: 1. http://www.morewords.com/, 2. Keep restarting the game until you get something at the website where the (prefix)*(suffix) when placed in the website gives you a valid word in the beginning, 3. Randomize the order of your words, as doing too many words alphabetically will reset the prefix/suffix given for you.
@wjvg: Um, no one has gotten a score that high. And in real life, that would not be a tree. 73,296,258,753,903 um is the equivalent of 73,296 km, but the circumference of Earth is only 40,075 km.
@MarzZee: You put the moving block at the beginning of the equation, and then append to that whatever the operation is. So if you move an 8 onto a "Divide 4" tile, you get 8/4 = 2. If you try moving a 2 onto a "Divide 4" tile, you get 2/4 = 0.5, which makes the game give you an error and undoes the move.
Another interesting graphical bug is that in the level selection screen, the levels in the same column all have the same 8 colors shown once (red, orange, yellow, lime green, green, aqua blue, blue, and purple) EXCEPT for the last column. That one is missing red and orange and instead has 2 green and aqua blue stripes in it.
