I know it's no longer the BOTD at the time of writing this, but Kong really did everyone dirty by making the medium badge the first day XD For future BOTDers: Click settings, click 'abort current run' if available (if not, you'll have to finish the run you are on; tip: PRESTIGE, do not wait), if you are not presented with a run that says '002' at the top, keep clicking the reroll button until you do (I recommend a run that asks for '300 Occult Runes' or something like that), then complete the goals until you've reached the end goal and then manually save. Make sure to give yourself several hours to complete any and all of these badges. Yes, you can save the game and come back to it, just don't delete your cookies or your temporary files before you've gotten the badges that you're going for; the game will do a hard reset and you'll lose all of your progress... which is exactly what just happened to me (I already got all of the badges, though, so I'm good to go). No, seriously, why? What's the point? If you're going to do something like this, a nonconsistent AI path isn't necessary; it's seriously rage inducing. I have never been so mad at a game before. It's a pretty game, I like the pixel aspect and I was loving the beginning, but this is just ridiculous. Sorry to hate, but no. Just no.
So, here's my method for this game: 1) Grind yourself to level 10. 2) Try to get yourself to the cloud level. 3) Press and hold down the up arrow the entire time (unless you need to catch yourself) so that you will cut through creatures. 4) Use the creatures to your advantage; cutting through them gets you more air and, since you're holding down the up arrow, you won't stop cutting through them. 5) Use this method as long as you can (you might not even need to get to level 10 for this method, this is just what worked for me by the time I hit level 10)
