hey i checked out ur platform help needed game but srry im prob worse at as2 than u. (and as3). i think i know the tutorial u got tho. is it the one at newgrounds? it also has link for a character and includes basically making a full platform game with enemies and all. is this the right tutorial? if so, i was reading some comments on newgrounds on it and they said part of the script is wrong. it may just get to complicated and u may just need to find a different tutorial. there is other great tutorials even tho they dont tell u about enemies and stuff tho. just an idea if no one can help u.

hey dude im glad u like my games! i had the same vcam problem as u for a long time. it never worked! on ne tutorial. but i finally read the tut very carefully and found it out. u have to double click on ur vcam u made to go inside the movie clip. i think right clicking on it and going to edit mode works to. then you have to put the code the tut gives u inside the frame of the vcam! not inside the vcam! sorry dude but i have no clue about ur ground problem. did u make like a thick block as your ground or is it just a straight line with no fill in? if its just a thin line i think the char may have trouble standing on it. i hope this helped dude!
