When I saw the chest, I knew in the back of my mind that something was wrong. But I ignored it and pushed forward, thinking that none were so cruel as to include such a danger in such a fun yet simple game. Then the mimic almost bit my face off.
To everyone who gets a white screen when this game loads, you just have to wait a few minutes. It takes a while to load, not entirely sure why, but it's probably got something to do with the detail of each item in player mode also being loaded over that huge map area in observer mode. Especially when it's loading all those trees and grass.
Some of my villagers keep getting trapped trying to cross one of the bridges. (Near the meatbutcher buildings) Since they can't jump, they just keep walking forward, making one big mass of people get stuck as more and more show up to cross the bridge. Maybe add a ramp or something?
Some of the upgrades, like fish cooking or vegan meat, mention heroes other than the ones they're upgrading. Perhaps you could find a way to make the upgrade require a certain level from the other hero in the description as well? It'd make things a bit more difficult, but also make a lot of sense, too.
I like how not all of the units fall into the stereotypes of their class, Like how the crossbowmen are heavily armored and can fight melee when needed, or how the monks focus on preventing damage over just healing it. It adds a touch of realism and allows for many more possible strategies.
Hodor.
