I don't want to knock this game because I think it's just not my kind of game and it might be a good game for others, and I just can't figure it out, but then I still enjoyed not building bridges and testing them anyway. Sorry cars and trucks!
I had to try this a second time when it got a badge. I like puzzle games usually but some of them are just too much trouble ahead of having a good time, so I quit on it very quickly the first time. It is a pretty great game that I can't finish but badly want to! I am glad I read the comments, because I get extra enjoyment out of the facial expressions changing very little. I like when it bites at the apple but can't have it yet.
Every time this game comes up as a badge of the day, I forget that I don't already have at least a badge; I try to play anyway. The background gives me a carsick effect and I have to quit. I can't get anywhere near any badges on this game. Sorry, it's probably a pretty good game, and obviously a lot of care went into crafting it.
Yeah, the game badges show no progress at all, no matter what you do, then close the window and open it again, it shows all the progress and badges earned.
Doesn't seem to be giving any credit toward any badge, would be awesome even if it just accumulated over several tries, but I don't even get credit for, say, 5 antidotes collected. Why is this a badge of the day????
Furthermore, after I thought I accomplished up+out twice on the same jump, I had trouble making it work even once on a jump, much less twice, and smashed up repeatedly. You really rack up the cash a bit quicker if you land upright. Tip: Once you press up to get in the cart, let go of all the other buttons and just keep pressing up as fast as you can until you land. No more $9 jumps.
@shiraface, I got credit for a combo of the same trick twice, but it wouldn't count it again. Or did I just get credit for doing the one trick once? I don't know, it took over 50 jump attempts, not a few were spent trying to repeat my trick combo. The real trick is noticing the cheaper ground trick on the second row, and landing upright and not spending money on anything else.
I imagine this is just the kind of thinky puzzle some people really like, and go for 3-star achievements, but after a while, I was just moving blocks no matter how many turns it took. Somewhere in the 2nd batch, it was just not in me to figure out placement for the direction-pushing blocks to end up where they should.
I think this is a good game. I like it and I want to keep going and finish. I just don't know how many levels there are, how many to go, and if I shut it down, if it's going to save my progress so I can continue playing another day. It feels like I must be almost done, but I really have no idea.
Is ok, I got 5 other badges, so you can keep your last level - not for being challenging, it is just too aggravating. I feel better knowing at least it saves, so I can try again later if I absolutely have to.
