To everyone noting the WebGL crash: It's a well-known problem related to WebGL (and possibly the Kongregate wrapper).

I know you're reading these, but no longer answering because you have so many things you're tweaking-- plus who knows what you do to earn money... Anyway, based on the Reddit post, the WebGL issue is related to it being an "experimental technology," and not really being supported, but do you have ANY news on that front, or will I be stuck forever grinding in my little 60,000 wave window until I have enough special resources to convert into a tier upgrade-- and will be stuck in 17th place on Insane forever?
I'd love to be able to walk away from it when I go to work in the morning and see that it hasn't crashed when I get home. :)
Don't know whether this has been mentioned already, but the game appears to stop/pause when you open another tab, even with "Run in Background" checked.
To be clear, I had a Tier 5 Blueprint that I spent four days of non-stop Extreme farming to build. It was worth well past 10G--to the point where even the "infinites" were maxed. I switched to a second blueprint to play some missions. I went back to the first one to do more farming, and I was presented with a dialog that said the blueprint was worth much more, and if I wanted to use it I had to reset it. What is the point in that, and why is that not spelled out somewhere?
When I'm farming Special Resources on Hard, eventually--right around level 8560 the second time around after and auto-restart, the enemy heart icon turns tan, everything moves slowly, and the boss is indestructible. What is the significance here?
Capping research and money could be problematic if someone decided to go the Personnel route rather than occasionally return to the home planet. Eventually, your research would cost more than 999.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This does NOT say that this is a Unity game!!! I am using Chrome, and will lose ALL my progress if I move this game to another broswer.
Kongregate staff tells me this is now fixed. Chrome should now run the game correctly, no workarounds necessary. Swarm Simulator doesn't require Unity. Sorry about the downtime!
Only read the first page of comments, but for those asking, the 7th square appears if you join with all six at once for any period of time. The screen turns green when that happens. I've managed to actually join all seven, but was disappointed when an 8th square did not appear.
.3% per kill means approximately 330 kills per level up. Factor in 1.5 to 3.5 minutes per kill (counting walking around "looking"), and a level at that pace will take 11 hours (660 min).
