if you make a number 2 can you make it so that when the portal's are shot at the wall roof or floor and there is an obstruction just within the portal range that the portal appears in the closest part to that (theres been like fifty times where i have i told myself portal there ,, quickly portal there to avoid turret and jump away and portal again .. and the "quick portal tuns into character death cause i hit the obstruction with a millimeter of the portal and the turret shoots cause i don't get the portal on the wall and therefore dont jump away and i just sit there cause of the short time between the energy ball bouncing and me getting past it (most of these predicaments happened on one level !32!) but still it was annoying when it happened and it did occur on other levels not necessarily in the same way
here's an idea the concept of the elements is quite good how about combining that concept with say an rpg or a strategy game ie you could have the upgrade system so that you create new elements and they allow you to do certain things eg partway through the rpg you could need to go to an area that requires a boat to get to the other side of a lake or in the strategy game inventing the boat might give you the upper hand on your oponent's or oponents and allow you to use the sea to battle some of there land or transport troops you could even go as far as to this age now and further ie sattelite weaponry ect .... just putting the idea out there as i wouldn't try to make it as i cannot make flash games ... well never tried to anyway ..... brilliant concept though
