This would be even easier than it is if the guards had patrols that made any sense. As it is, your greatest enemy is getting bored of waiting for the guy spinning in circles outside your hiding spot to move on.
Anyone else getting tired of these Portal clones?
ZOMG! The mysterious voice guiding you can't be trusted in a quirky platformer!! What a twist! None of these games have the charm or creativity of Portal, but boy are there a lot of them now.
Best strategy guide to easily beat every encounter in this game:
1) Design a tank that is nothing but as many seekers as you can fit stacked right in the middle on top of each other.
2) Fly in circles around the outside rim of the bubble as fast as you can.
3) hold spacebar.
4) win.
Seriously, that was all I did from the moment I got seekers. Before that the only difference was I stacked machine guns and held the mouse toward the middle of the arena. Seekers are better though because then I could play one handed and read a book while waiting for my badge.
Good game. It could use more to it, gets a little repetive, but not too bad. One thing is the elemental attack/defense system wasn't that clear. I seemed to deal less damage to a creature with 0 water defense after equipping a ring with a huge bonus to water attack. Not really sure how it worked, but it wasn't that important to beating it.
This game's great at first. Once you get to half-bloods and false-gods though, it gets tedious. Basically, the AI starts cheating, getting advantages players have no access to. The designer must've thought "Alright, I'll give the AI twice the life as the player, have him draw twice as many cards, and oh yeah, one mark isn't enough, I'll give him three. Maybe then my shitty AI can stand a chance against a human. Seems like fun."
MASSIVE leaps in difficulty, even within the same night. It's not uncommon to go through 4 waves, including a boss, without taking a single hit then instead of getting a perfect game, lose completely in the last wave. Be prepared to reload a lot.
playing a psychotic, the baron's fairly easy to beat. Just use free will to heal your team who gets the 10% damage tick, and use traumatize to stun him and drain his focus. If you have traumatize twice in your attacks, Gregor can easily be defeated as well by traumatizing him whenever he regens focus, therefore ensuring he can't heal himself.
