This game isn't "a bit" longer/difficult. There's a difference between grinding and pointlessness. The previous game was well balanced and made you feel that you were working toward a tangible end. But this game is just navel-gazing! When it takes days to accomplish anything, you no longer have a game. What's wrong with finishing in a few hours? Admit that your game is broken and fix it.
