So you've found it... Congratulations! It is not unsolvable though, just unbelievably hard. Fun fact, this was the original lvl44 (brick picture) puzzle, but it didn't take long before I realized what a mistake that would be.
Also, while it's understandable that the splash can't be built in such a way as to instantly kill spawned enemies, get a champion in the same move as the others, and hit nimble enemies, I think it could at least do one of those things. As it is, it's mostly a dump stat.
Also, currently when you use the promoted pawn in the last row and remain in the last row, your other pawns remain pawns, which enables situations where you have two card which each give you and extra move but no moves that actually work.
I get having shops be rarer in the gauntlet, but with none at all and only seven previous shops it's really down to how lucky what you got in the shop was.
On the Dark World Stutter, I can stop, waiting for the bar to hit me, remove my hand from the pad, and somehow it kills me. Does the purple have a bigger hitbox, or continue moving for a second or something? Because honestly the only part of this game that ever made me feel like it was being unfair.
Pretty much everything that could possibly be complained about in the last game is gone. Which was only like two things, but that doesn't make the improvement less impressive. I worried about what would happen, here, and that gave my choices more weight. The simple, nothing unnecessary, storytelling also benefited from the fact that I know this means so much to the main character, and the moment I realized I was playing as the daughter from the first game my heart swelled with pride, because I thought to myself "She followed my footsteps." Not "My character's", but "my" footsteps, because you are that freaking good.
Amazing game, but having played through it making the exact opposite choices, I have to say I was disappointed by how little they impacted things. The alchemist doesn't even mention my wounds if I choose to fight the townspeople. I also ask the alchemist about the child's illness even if I never asked the smith about what was up with his daughter? Wouldn't it make more sense if that choice left you a little unprepared when you choose to save her, and the girl is ill longer?
Still, playing through the first time was a great experience, and you really got me to care about all these characters.
Refreshing made the button work, but only the first time. Every time the button levels up, it works again, but only until I switch page, afterwards it stops working, and the other pages don't show upgrades to the button until I refresh.
2 things. First off, I wish you could eradicate a color, because once you go far enough it's just "Why won't you die!?" Maybe put in a color that won't reach the mutation curve? Secondly, the click mutations are too expensive for not enough gain.
There's a glitch in Challenge Mode that happens when you get a mission in sewer base, where no enemies appear, you can't shoot or use any abilities, and you ammo keeps on cycling on its own.
