Bug report: I do not receive emeralds for completing the "Goals". it allows me to confirm the receipt on completion, but does not actually add to my emerald total.
Got the system to where there were enough idle keys (5) being produced fast enough to maintain a stable number of keys while idling with the first chest on auto. Left running overnight. Now the inventory is so full that it takes 5-10s to update the screen after selling a single item, essentially making the game unplayable/unusable unless I was able to farm up the 50K for the sell all function (which shuld maybe be 5K?).
I am sorry to have to report that I still get the out of memory error every once in a while. Most recently was with literature at level 50 with gaining 10 levels per class.
Also, I really like the Rat Piper and Vampire Bat (usually, they can be tough depending on class, etc. if encountered on level 2) and would like to see more uniques like them, maybe with special drops or a guaranteed loot drop with a chance of a higher tier item like the inferno sword or thunder axe?
Great ideas with the special drops for named mobs. There were originally supposed to be more of them but just sort of ran out of time/other more important things came up. So that's certainly a an area to improve on. I like any sort of content that is rare and occurs in only a small fraction of runs. I feel like if you can add enough stuff that occurs say 1/100 times then every single run has some really rare unique thing pop up and surprise you.

I am really liking a lot of the updates, and am looking forward to more. Gaining skill points when acquiring skill books was a nice touch (I did not gain any points picking up the warrior book as barbarian, unsure if points are supposed to be gained with that one). The barbarian is exactly the upgrade/alteration the knight needed. The knight feels a little weak in comparison now; perhaps go all-in on the tankiness and/or switch out skills (and starting weapon) to specialize with/increase efficiency of the longsword/blocking. the 15HP is nice at the start, but is eclipsed by the 20% barbarian melee bonus. Also start with an additional 10% physical reduction +/- decrease hp at start (10% reduction and 10hp?). You have made a real gem here, and it is just getting better each day. Thank you for this, and with how interactive you are with the community on here.
You've nailed it with regards to the knight (he should really be renamed warrior -> knight). That's the direction I want to take him. Just keep pushing him in the tank direction and keep pushing the barbarian in the crazy damage output direction. @TakashiKurorai: I agree, have had two awesome barbarian runs ended by them (one with a +6 axe and 20 points into melee, fortitude and stealth with a warrior book on top of it all). Charging them or warping adjacent with a blink scroll is essentially auto-death.
May need to set a rule on chests and pools not spawning next to each other, just opened a set of the runed/locked doors (only one entrance tile) and the pool and chest block any entry/exit to the enemies.
Suggestion: Decrease damage dealt by ice statue when you charge them. Just had my barbarian with 65 health killed in a single shot when I charged it from 5 spaces away.
Yeah there's something screwy with them. They should not be able to deal that sort of damage. I'll be looking into it. I've also been knocked back like 10 tiles by them a few times which should be impossible.
Possibly fixed the merchant issue (was unable to replicate myself). Please let me know if it continues to occur. Also I believe music should now work and save as expected.
Bug report: Music inconsistently remains off between runs, sometimes yes and sometimes no. In a run as a barbarian the second merchant I ran across results in the game freezing. I select view items and no screen pops up, I can move and play as normal, if I click on the merchant again the game freezes. Refreshing the page and continuing the save recreates the error consistently.
Suggestion: It is frustrating to get multiple copies of the same gear in a run without finding improved versions. Possibly make it so that anytime a weapon/armor you already have is dropped/picked up it improves the currently held item by +1? (once found 3 axes as a warrior, all of which were +0)
That's very odd. What your describing is exactly how its currently implemented. You should always pick up an item that is plus one from your current item if you already own it.
bug report: Was character level 2, did not spend skill points and had browser crash (not flash, entire browser). Upon restarting the unspent skill points were gone. Using Chrome.
Overall difficulty is fair, although I have not yet found a great build for the rogue. Would appreciate if the music would not restart every time you complete a run (win or death).
Whenever I have supported the red team in the wars, shortly after the soldiers arrive to protect the port after the red team wins my game will crash. Upon reloading a large portion of my progress will be wiped out, but the rollback is not consistent: I will lose any moos I have from the last big shipment but keep the kookies, my money will rollback to a much earlier point (in the last crash I lost 5k gold), a random other set of goods in my port will disappear. again most recently about 40 Joblas, a half dozen cigarettes and a dozen tableware. The only thing that is consistently kept is the currently active bulk orders, but since the items I have been collecting to fill them typically disappear this results in failing the order mission consistently.

Yes, that's known, it's not actually an issue, just not implemented (You can read about it on the update notes).
This game was done as an entry for the GiTD challenge (Game in ten days). For that reason, a lot of things are not fully done, and there is not that much to do. We are working on adding things to the game to make it a lot more complete, but it takes a bit of time. (The game was uploaded on such an early phase precisely for the voting of the GiTD which is hosted here in kongregate :) )
