Has anyone actually ever gotten GP or SP on the roulette wheel? I've spun it probably 100 times now have only hit Credits (65%), Nothing (30%), and Weapon (5%).
There needs to be a better way to upgrade base damage. I have 60,000 gems and all other upgrades and I'd like to dump them all into base damage but it would probably take me a few hours to do it by clicking 60,000 times.
Fun game. I can't seem to get a couple of the badges though. "Complete levels in normal mode" badge says 13/16, even though I've beaten them all in Normal (and hard / extreme). Maybe because I beat some of them in Hard before beating them in Normal? "Get all stars" badge says that I have 156 out of 156, but that I don't have the badge.
I was hoping to get to the max level, but it has taken more than a month to get to Hellstone 102. The last few pick upgrades it has taken over 50,000 gems. Thinking about giving up if there are no updates to the game. I'm getting a little tired of keeping my browser window open.
Aw, it looks like the mower glitch got fixed. It used to allow you to do the 'berserk' mowing and then quickly exit to the tile screen and it would lock the DPS to 2-3x the base rate. I had to refresh the game and now it no longer does this :(. Oh well, it's going to take that much longer to max everything out.
@Zada23, I thought the same thing, until I realized that you can just click the links without actually doing anything. I don't even have facebook or twitter accounts and I got the stars.
@DashRaptor, I got 3 stars on the first level the first time playing and it game me that medal.
@Montiqueue, agreed. Getting the 5th level of upgrades wasn't too bad, but grinding to get the 6th is a bit much, especially since the game is easy enough with just the 5th level upgrades. Maybe if endless mode difficulty increased more quickly and had higher gold drops as it got harder then that would be a good way to get money without spending so much time.
It seems like I'm unable to get some of the medals. I've beaten the game, ran ~35 minutes in endless mode before getting bored (it needs to get harder over time). Yet somehow I can't get the Killing Machine medal. I've been using the Gargoyle for most of the game (including in endless mode), racking up probably hundreds of thousands of damage using it, but I still don't have the Beast Mode medal. Other than those 2, I think everything else is working ok. Good game overall though. Fix those couple of bugs and make endless mode get harder and it get's 5/5, as is it's still good so 4/5.
Currently working on improvements to make Endless Mode a lot less dull and that includes the possibility of having bosses spawn! Thanks for the feedback!
So I guess I can't get the hard achievement because I don't have a twitter or facebook account. This is bull****. You shouldn't need to have accounts on other sites to get achievements on this site. Why not just require people to pay $5 for an achievement.
@skoog, once you get enough upgrades it's not too hard. If you are really having a tough time, just keep grinding the missions and you'll eventually get the 'fireproof spray' perk which prevents you and your troops from getting hurt by fire. Super useful against the end boss.
