That deluxe ad really decreases the quality of what would otherwise be an exceptional game. I've lowered my rating to 4/5 accordingly for the pure annoyance of it. If I wanted Deluxe, I'd get it with or without this advert.
Other slight problems are the way that you can't make games private, the way that level-ups determine wins/losses almost instantly and the way that that the tank upgrades are relatively hidden.
Otherwise, I love it.
The part where you need to put the wood under the cauldron needs a much wider clickable spot. I spent ages stuck because nothing happened when I tried. I had to look at a spoiler-filled walkthrough because apparently I was clicking 1-mm to the left every time I tried.
It's a nice game, but at the beginning, the tutorial just goes on and on. The game very much holds my hand all the way through. I'd like to get stuck in before half an hours worth of tutorials, in future games.
I love games like these, but there is sometimes a bit too much random click type guesswork needed. Picking up the arm of the skeleton, for example, was far too obscure to be thought of naturally. I clicked on the skeleton several times with no result, requiring me to specify the arm was a bad idea.
I still have no idea how the game works, or when to use the materials available effectively. This doesn't seem so much puzzling as randomly guessing and hoping.
I don't feel like level 35 was particularly fair. I was clueless for hours because I didn't know that the mechanic would work like that. Introducing new concepts isn't a good way to make a level challenging. It's a shame because the rest of the game is very good.
I love the new teleporter thing and this game is something which is always very easy to come back to. I'd like to have a full level editting mode, perhaps unlocked with the freestyle at the end of the game.
Okay I've played a bit more and I want to rescind what I said before. This is very enjoyable. Having said that, I would enjoy this game a LOT more without the timed element. I don't think a timer suits this game.
There isn't really enough leeway given with the times. Therefore, it became frustrating getting an A grade rather than fun and the enjoyment was gone entirely.
Me: Hehehe, I can just grill 8 pancakes at once, and then I automatically get 100% waiting score. Game, consider yourself broked.
Game: "You have unlocked French Toast"
Me: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
