This blatantly says it's not a game. What I don't get it why it has such a high rating anyways. It required absolutely no effort whatsoever to make and I don't think I'm the only one tired of seeing a bunch of "Kongregate Chat Box" and "Kongchat" or whatever. It's a bunch of people trying to submit nothing and succeeding. If you want to use the chat box but are distracted by a paused game with your computer muted on the side, than you have other things to worry about. Otherwise, you can just use a chat service elsewhere instead of spamming Kong. This site is for games. Not chat boxes.
Somehow during the swimming minigame I super jumped. At first I though my character just disappeared, but then later I found him fly across the screen, then later he started to slowly float down into the water. It was hilarious.
It's very obnoxious how every time you fight the quality resets itself to high. You should really add a more permanent quality option, or otherwise at least make right click, quality, low permanent. Other than that, this is a surprisingly addictive game. I don't feel even slightly forced to spend real money, but it doesn't seem like a completely alien concept either. Good job on this one.
This guy isn't actually all that tough, the red soldiers seem to just be really stupid. Putting your gun in a soldiers face and making him put his hands next to it? Standing on a bridge that when broken will drop a weight on your partner? And did they make those ropes out of licorice or did they not know how to tie a not? Who keeps on putting hand grenades and tomahawks on the floor? While this guy is kind of good, the real surprise is that the reds can even make an army in the first place...
I found myself hopelessly stuck on level 12, about to either pull out all my hair, ragequit, or take a cyanide pill, but then I played Franky's theme and breezed through the next 4 levels with an adrenaline rush. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJ-u8kRcrfI) Seriously, try it.
Man, this is a great idle game. I love how quickly you get turns, and I really love how it's a big team competition. Very creative and innovative. While I think Newgrounds will while probably win since it has way more players, I still love it. Also, the thing about how every player makes a difference is just enough to make me feel kind of good about myself.
Ha, I found the Protectors of Legacy gloves in the training hall. Seriously, those pretty much lasted me till the end of the game on my other character. Anyways, this is one of my favorite games. I've played it many times over. It's really great how after completing every dungeon you have pretty much infinite health, even as a mage. I can't wait till the third one comes out.
This is a great game. To the other commenters, it's not supposed to be about quick combat. This is, like it says in the title, a puzzle game. There aren't going to be any fast paced hacking rounds.
It's pretty easy to make an army of zombies once you start. Simply buying thousands of the same unit is a great strategy, meaning no strategy is required. I actually like it that way, but it gets pretty obnoxious telling each individual soldier to join your army. Just a button to automatically add one to the army would be nice. Great game.
@ GD FierceDeity1, While I agree anyone higher level than you has to be hacking since the game is only three days old, and since this is an idle game you can't speed level. However, I'd say you're also either hacking of just plain lying. 1077 levels? Seriously? I've left it on for about an hour with a human and I am now level 8. There is no way you are lvl 1077 after three days, especially since whenever you level up it gets harder to level up again.
The athletic duck is material of nightmares. Seriously, WTF? Also, there is now a surplus of ducks in a volcano and a bunch of ducks splattered on the windows and streets of London. On a more serious note, the classes seem to be somewhat unbalanced. As a swimming duck, even when I had the maximum stats for an evolution, sometimes I still got second on a race. However, on my athletic duck this wasn't a problem at all. Also, the normal seed gives you more stamina per dollar. Seed gives you 3 points per dollar, special seed gives you 1 per dollar. It would be nice if the special seed was as good as normal seed. Overall, this is still a great game. It's very fun to see my duck demolish other ducks in a race, even if my duck is monstrous. (The lanky duck is my favorite part of the game.)
The game doesn't suck as much as you say it does, it's actually a great time waster and overall pretty fun. Oh, and to everyone else, the best class is by far the mage. If every time you gain a level you put 2 points into intellect, 2 into willpower, and 1 into vitality (just so you aren't instantly killed) then pretty soon you're doing massive amounts of damage.
About jjsheely's comment "I think it's funny how Galiant has about 600 HP when on your side, then suddenly gets like 1968 HP when you fight him in the next fight. lol" I think it's a fair trade off since his damage seems to be quite... reduced.
Glad you enjoy it!
