Magic needs to be buffed badly. The damage for magic scales very poorly, while if you just go destroyer and get only the left tree and only spec in to strength, you will not get one shotted (unlike a full damage sorcerer) and you will do far more damage. Their is really no reason whatsoever to go gunslinger. Other than that, this is an absolutely amazing game that I've played countless times.
Some advice, the best build for this is actually 100% strength with 2 handed weapons, most armor you can find. The enemy simply can't disable your teams armor as fast as you can kill them, especially if you all just focus in on attacking one person at a time.
Being 100% intelligence build is extremely rewarding. If you are able to instantly kill the enemy, you win. If you don't, run away. Usually, you're able to burst the enemy. :D
I don't get why you ever even get more mana as the shaman if everything is a percentage. Why not just limit your mana to 100 and have numerical values?
That "You have a bunch of crafting materials!" message is really annoying, it just keeps coming back no matter how much I dismiss it. Mind making that thing go away until, say, the end of the next battle or something?
The fact that they walk away at the end doesn't mean that it's "forgotten." If someone dies protecting you, you don't forget that. It doesn't mean they stop caring either. People will stop crying about things after a while, even if they are extremely sad about it. Also, to Cobra Lionsfist, that heroic looking guy would die for nothing if he charges the enemy (or if the alien moves out of the way.) Nothing is accomplished whatsoever, his life is just thrown away. Good thing he hid behind the alien. Great game, it was really sad though.
---------SPOILER---------------------
These guys aren't friendly at all, they're attacking repeatedly for minutes on end with giant cannons and suicide bombing me. They were actively trying to kill me for a very long period of time while I tried to run and dodge them. I don't feel bad about killing them, their message was obviously a decoy to slaughter the player's people.
I think I'm supposed to say what I twist, and I admit I was slightly shocked, but the longer the NASA guy went on, the less dramatic it became. In other words, you should cut the ending message a little shorter, or make it change a little.
I play a little game with this called "Crash the Stock Market." I push all my money into one stock, wait for the practically assured jump that follows, then pull my money back out at what seems like the peak. Hilarity ensures!
I wish you didn't have to halt the entire pregame meeting for one person to get water or a hot dog or something, or at least have them eat at the table. It's pretty annoying when they don't get anywhere for months because it's constantly on halt for someone.
Well I don't know about everyone else in the comments, but I kind of like this game, though a reset character button would be nice in case someone (not me, for once) screws up.
Thanks! And we don't have a reset button for a number of reasons, although the main one is that it isn't really needed, since all builds have their advantages and disadvantages!
The experiment button is pretty useless unless if you've looked up recipies online or something, since there are over 23 septillion combinations. Seriously, 24 ingredients and an empty space, so 25. 25 available things or each space, 16 spaces, so 25^16, or over 23 septillion. I guess you can use it to just pour in crap for fun...
I won't ask because I know. You want to get credit for nothing. You shouldn't. There doesn't need to be any of these. 1 is more than enough, and this isn't a game.
