@Lordmatiz - You need to use it on a treasure chest. It will instantly open it instead of waiting for the locks to open with the fairly low click chance.
I'd add that with how few and far between these gemstones and things are, and the off chance that you might get the building you need for whatever part you are in the game, it's truly insulting that this isn't a sliding scale wood, stone, iron, coal, or any other resource. Even if the resources needed change with each one made, that would be better than how it's currently set up. I have no problem supporting this games development further, but without something done to rectify this, i wouldn't.
Supported your work! Thanks for a great game. I understand the workers upgrades that everyone is whining about. For reference, you guys will be making far more money and getting far more resources in a short amount of time. The only thing i absolutely don't like is the forcing the player to use their finite and valuable gemstones (any of them) to build a building that may or may not give them the blueprint they are looking for. This should be normal resource based like every other building in the game. EXCEPT - the portal of time. That one is understandable.
Game runs incredibly smoothly in Firefox like the dev stated. I absolutely love the menu setup - non-intrusive, easy to understand, keeps the emphasis on the graphics - Very well done. Clicking is useless after you have a few rings going around and then after your first transcendence - only need to click a couple times to unlock second ring. Cost/production ratio on clicks is atrocious but that doesn't take away from the game that much. Like i said, eventually you only need a couple clicks to start producing anyway. The Transcend bonus is more than fair at 10% - dare i say even a little (or a lot lol) overpowered. Looking forward to what's coming next.. my only gripe would be lost saves - be it from poor coding or even updates. That crap drives me crazy and instantly pushes me away from games. Devs should take the time to make sure that the players saves are compatible with the update. Also maybe a cloud save option to protect people from accidentally deleting their cookies.
Thanks for the nice review! As the game is still in beta, I will be tweaking values and taking player input and adjusting where appropriate. Clicking was added mainly to speed up activating the first few rings, but I can adjust the math and give more apparent value to clicking. This game currently only uses PlayFab cloud saves, and no updates have been pushed yet, so if you have encountered an issue with saves, please let me know and I will look into it.
Doing rewards is a very nice thank you to your players. However, making them work only on the day they are given is a little ridiculous. You were recently on vacation yourself and your players may in fact want to go on vacations as well. I would recommend a code system similar to IOU Universe where the codes remain active for 7-8 days. This way you never feel as though you will miss something just by being away for a few days. Keeping them active for a little longer will make people much happier, and keep your player base always looking for more :)
Another "Please help me finish my game" - game. I'm pretty sure Kongregate is turning into Steam. Pretty soon we're going to have a "Greenlight" mechanic - In a free online gaming website...Come the **** on. Way to go devs.
Welcome to the game with 7 buttons, 4 of which are basically useless. There is no real content. Dots, going into another dot. Once in a while a blue dot flashes and you can click it. Other than that, literally nothing. Seriously what the hell are devs thinking nowadays? Here's the base of every single idle game out there - please fellow gamers help me finish my game because honestly i have no creativity but i am pretty sure i am a master of copying - but with your help, with your thoughts and wants and input, i can copy more things from other games to make this game not stand out but at least make it playable for you! Thanks: Almost every developer on Kongregate now.
In my opinion, you should seriously consider undoing the laboratory research reset, and hoping that some of your players are still around with an import file they can use to get back to where they were before. If not, i'm afraid this game will be dead for many people that were really enjoying it. Myself included.
Just to sum up: Released an event particle to speed up production as a bonus for hitting 50k gameplays only to completely remove any and all research gained since start? Adding more bugs, alienating your players, and nullifying your own game.
Do any developers create a game anymore or do they all throw together a slack-jawed, open-ended, unfinished canvas that they want the player to finish for them? It's pathetic. It lacks any and all creativity. It's cheap. And it's beyond annoying. Finish a game for Christ's sake before putting it on Kongregate. Kongregate - "The place for you to ask how to finish your game"
Interesting so far. Only gripe i have is the wretched font. In an HD age, not being able to read something because of deliberate bad font choices is really aggravating.
After response from developer. I have increased my rating for this game again and plan on making my way back up the leaderboards. Thank you Gumrok for helping me out and for keeping me interested. It didn't bring me exactly to where i was, BUT, the extras that you threw in there made it completely fair i think. Again, thanks and i'm looking forward to future content and games from you.
A sliding scale? What do you mean exactly?
