For additional easymode when going for the badges with cabballgirl1992's tip (start a game and name yourself almostpapa to start with an almost fully completed game), I recommend serving unbaked and uncut margharitas to every gold customer.
Power-ups breaking combos seems to only be fixed for the ice power-up. For the demon giant it clearly keeps resetting the combo in-between groups of enemies. Rush kills combos as well because it puts you on the ground when it's done.
In the later levels, transfer money to each new city and immediately get the basement, a parking lot and the event hall (and have an event going at all times). Those are the buildings that actually make you money.
Bit of a silly design flaw: In the pause menu, the resume button is where the boss is. Clicking it just caused me to die from full health in insane endless mode because my character immediately ran straight for the cursor when I clicked.
Examine bathroom mirror: "It's a bathroom mirror." Examine first video tape: "It's a video tape." Examine newspaper: "It's a newspaper." Examine lighter: "It's a lighter." Examine screwdriver: "It's a screwdriver." Why is the examine feature even in the game if it's not going to say anything meaningful?
The intro story was good but I couldn't enjoy it. It was very annoying and distracting that it often skipped to the next bit of text while I was still reading. If the story continues when I click, I don't see why it should automatically move on and force me to rush through the text.
A great concept, but the game is a bit confusing about its rules. It keeps doing things I don't expect. For instance, when selecting a new type, I didn't expect it to immediately cancel the current swap. At the start of the game, I didn't even expect it to cancel my first swap at all. I also think the graphics could be slightly clearer about the tileswap, it would be nice if the active type had the more dominant graphics, rather than the original type. Other than the slightly lacking player communication, I really like it.
These games are great, but the lack of numbers makes strategy somewhat a trial and error process. Fire rate is only described as "fast", "medium" and "slow". Armour can be "high", "medium" and "low". A very large amount of upgrades adds "a chance" to have some effect. I'd really prefer to have some more numbers to work with.
"People are selfish!" "Dad, maybe you should use another idea." *picks the contract needs to be obliged* "The sovereign won't oblige the contract because he is selfish!" Why not accept my first choice? Not to mention he already said the sovereign is obliged because people would revolt. I wanted to give 5/5 but the ideas match the 'flaws' so badly that I have to take it down to a 4.
Nearly invincible team: Cleric as leader, arbalester and engineer as partners. Max out hp upgrades, battle fury, health regen, and healing drone. No need to buttonmash left mouse button, just keep space pressed. :)
It always disturbs me when I have a large group of units, and only three of them actually do something while the others just seem to sit back and watch. :s
Spears trump horses. Defense trumps offense. Arrows trump defense. Offense trumps arrows. Ninjas trump all except defense. Using these guidelines and picking the card that trumps or at least equals the opponent's choice each time seems to work well so far.
Just like the previous one, way too many things jumping at me at once. Loads of enemies, loads of towers, loads of levels, loads of game modes, loads of achievements, loads of upgrades, loads of possible strategies, and most of these can only be figured out through trial and error during games where you want to be paying attention to the fighting. I don't feel at all tempted to look into all this.
Czrds has multiple solutions... I placed the main melody right and the background music pieces validly and it told me (without asking) which pieces were wrong. I stubbornly kept placing them and it plays the entire thing with all four players. It doesn't register as a win and sounds pretty awkward. Puzzles should never have multiple outcomes with only 1 being registered. http://i.imgur.com/Gvd8I.jpg
The second one is a little bit more on point, but you are right that either idea should work.
