Thanks for playing and rating! We are still looking at lag, but the problem is extremely mysterious to us at this point. We have literally over optimized the game and put in options to completely disable all graphic elements when the game is out of focus, and it seems to have completely fixed the problem for some people, and messed it up for others that never had a problem, when the things we changed should have been a massive improvement on CPU and GPU usage... So unfortunately the lag fixing is at a standstill until unity gets back to us on some questions we posted. I hope most of you are able to play ok! Sorry for the problems!
I was not lagging before the new lag fix.
Now, the game took 14-16 seconds for the whole Map resource bar to finish. Where the declared rate should be 12 seconds.
And my barrack, which said to complete in 62 seconds took 137 seconds. Cathedral supposed 6.67 sec took 11-12 sec.
My i5 processor only ran 30-40% at High setting. But I noticed that it only ran like on 2 of the 4 processors.
Lastly, I did some experiment with offline mode, netted about 35-40% of my Gold per seconds.
Bottomline, I guess playing it offline is better for me at the moment.
Whatever this "all economy building costs increased VERY slightly, in preparation of future content.", it better comes fast. Muh income is increased by ~300% but building cost is like 10x more expensive.
This is neither funny nor cute. At 500 gold mines, the next 1 cost 2.46B, while only producing 1.2M/s, that's like 34 minutes for it to upgrade itself. How much time do you believe people are willing to invest in playing this? /butthurt
My case:
Found a 22x22 planet.
Save up resource to send 1 level 5 ships, and buffed.
From meager less than 500M capital, I got 3T after conquering it.
After sleeping and coming back from work, I have researched the 40M Universe Collect-All, which sadly does not collect Crystals and Orbs. In any case, the main key is that 3T money, and tons of Speed-Up items. That would propel you from a nobody in the galaxy to a powerhouse.
When to level up your enemy?
WHEN YOU CAN 1-HIT-KILL YOUR NEXT ENEMY
That's at least it's HP+DEF. (example 420 for level 2 and 945 for level 3)
You can excel it if you want (I did), and even if you 1-hit-kill your current enemy, unless you can 1-hit-kill the next one, your current one would yield the most land/hour.
