I think what CDelli said only applies to the second map. From the 3rd map forward, only having 10-ish iron minerals becomes the limiting factor. Exponential cost increase for linear benefit always ends somewhere :-).

hmm.... i'm going to have to say that it's not that great... 3/5. up to level 4, it stays interesting, but it's all downhill from there.
