Thank god the gold ships don't get hit with every other bullet. Otherwise I'd never be able to keep a combo going. Don't need gold after a while, just combos.
Awesome game, didn't take long to complete. There were only 2 strategies for me: build a pit for demons to die in, or build a large wall. Pretty straightforward.
The dev really doesn't understand how guns work. A clip can hold so many rounds, but not every gun uses a clip. Here's a hint: most shotguns and rifles don't use clips. Each round is composed of a casing, bullet, primer, and gunpowder. The casings ARE NOT FIRED from the gun. They are ejected from the firing chamber. There's a lot more wrong with this game, but suffice to say it's not as much fun as any of the other shooting games on Kong.
Fantastic graphics and music is worthless when the gameplay and controls are pure crap. The only saving grace for this game is the rewind button, which I had to use an awful lot considering the enemies, traps, and everything else was near impossible to avoid the first time around. I feel like I'm playing a Sonic the Hedgehog game, except without useful controls.
Once you get passed the initial offense of creeps and manage to hold the lines, all you need is time to complete any of the missions. I found that storage was usually useless once I had a good setup going, and the energy is better spent building reactors and weapons.
