The Guide isn't freakin' necessary. This game is easy enough without it. How about posting strategy for individual enemies/bosses rather than re-posting WALLS OF USELESS TEXT?
Hmm, a demo for a game that costs money that isn't as good as the Shift series... still, it was tough now and then and not too bad to play. 4/5 for Atari graphics.
Until all character stats are taken into consideration every battle, this isn't a true RPG... 500 HP doesn't do squat if you have no defense or evade. How does that make sense?
The start of the game was a pain, but after getting the basics down it's a blast. The voices are also awesome, and it's fun to listen to some kid knight defeat beasts of epic proportions. 5/5
Completed this game on my a lag-free computer, but for all the garbage that it has and the sad excuse it calls "Gameplay," I rate it 1/5. There's very few options each battle: go forward, go back, spam your specials (because timing is irrelevant in later levels), and get lagged into oblivion. The most strategy I see is picking the right units to use before the battle, and the rest of it is bunk.
abcd, your save files likely got moved around. What you need to do is run a search for your AKS2 save file. The newest save file is where your old save file needs to be. Copy your save file. It's also likely that all of your other save files need to be moved as well. This happened to me the other day.
As soon as I was prepared to work at this game, it ended prematurely. Is that it? I finally take the effort to beat the game and it takes less than 2 hours? Sucks for an epic game, but that's great for a trailer/teaser. Good replay value also helps.
Near the beginning of the game, it's tough to choose a weapon. The combos are what really make or break a weapon set, since your enjoyment of the game depends on your playstyle. Blades typically deal less damage per swing but swing faster, allowing you to make your foes flinch for longer. The combo sends enemies flying and the active skill deals a bunch of very fast hits to an enemy or two. This is my favorite of the three. The sword does more damage but it's slower. The combo sends you and your sword forward, dealing quite a bit of damage but leaving you vulnerable, and the active skill sends you further forward than the combo. The axe does the most damage but takes longer to swing. The combo does a ground smash with a decent radius and I haven't played with the active skill, but from the description it sends you in circles to damage all foes around you. I hope this helps you choose which weapon set you wish to play with throughout the game.
