After my score breached about 30,500, all but one of my towers (I had almost the entire grey area covered) became invisible, as did my player icon, and the coin-bots. Some of the targets are flashing from invisible to visible.
That's a pretty serious bug! I'm terribly sorry that happened to you. Was it completely random, or did you do something just beforehand? It sounds like something went wrong and propagated errors all over the place! If I get a null reference exception while testing in Unity, things become mighty weird. Again, sorry about the bug.
I was attempting to buy the force field phasing research when it started lagging, I was able to purchase it, and got back into my game (it was mid level), at which point the menu for buying more blops came up, and then it brought me back to the main menu. I now currently have the upgrades I had equipped when it restarted, but none others and no research.
I know this is a beta, and it's an awesome game, so I'm not complaining. Just to let you know.
Interesting in that it seems a lot of time went into the idea/artwork, but it seems that there was little to no playtesting. Btw, for always perfect launches: The meter starts at the top, so just hit space twice when at the menu (one to start it, and another for the immediate perfect launch).
87997. No lag, used the pistol until I had max turrets, max fences, and second airsupport, then got the minigun. You can honestly skip last fence, though.
I'd like to have kept my coins for a second go after reaching the 500 meters. On my way up I'd collected a bunch of coins but that didn't count once I'd beaten it.
