There's this weird thing where your workers become less efficient as you put more upgrades into them. So sometimes it would seem better to just not, because they would stay cheap but efficient that way instead of expensive but inefficient

Okay the heroes are basically useless. I plowed through the entire game using normal troops, and waiting for my heroes to catch up
