This game would be more fun if it took forever to get to use combo abilities. Enemies should have higher HP so we can chain more combos, which are fun and satisfying to do. Waiting for the tech counter to iterate is not................

The grind isn't that bad actually...I love seeing the results of a fully upgraded mastery tree. Super easy big EXP grind: map14: maxed tree farming and mana regen; each cut tree=100gfor50mana. Flood mid w crypts & bld on farting squares. upgrade allcrypts to ghosts for manaleech. outer hi towers become evileye temple; inner hi towers become ballista dens. [[[ninja proof.]]]
stopped playing after got the best gun, all the non weapon upgrades, and got stuck waiting for my 110294th slow moving platform in an unchallenging uninspired room. plus, no story either. wheres the motivation? 2/5
Very pleasantly surprised to see you can have multiple save files, though the only real reason why someone would want to go back to a finished file is to reset skills and play around with new stuff. Other than that, COMPLAINT: some status effects dont show up, like how long ally/enemy will bleed. Wish I could have that info available.
Similarities that lured me into it: the cutscenes are fire emblem. Some of the music is like golden sun (flutes anyone?). The monster encounters are like persona 3/4. The item rarity color system is like d2. These are personal similarities from my own experience btw I'm sure you guys recognize others.
