Just one complain so far, achievement getting in the way, and blocking a substantial amount of screen visibility when you get at least 2 of them at the same time.
4/5
Mmh, I think the autosave did not work because I never went to the mainframe computer. Just sshed into kyle topz computer knowing his name from a mail. I hope it will save now, because I need some sleep !
If i try to use the motd command on kyle topz computer, event after passing the bot challenge, it says that the computer is protected by houri maze. I think it's a bug ? I'm able to use all the other commands.
I would like to see on the level selection screen on which ones I made the best score (smiley face) and on which ones I just finished it (thumb up).
Great game anyway. 4/5
Really liked it. Could have been a PuzzleScript game.
But the end of the story is a bit odd and frustrating.
Don't understand the "You start moving ..."
Yeah, it's been a while since i've played a little platformer like that, without inertia. The simplicity of the engine gives a light and pleasant experience.
The glitchy world, although already seen in many other games, is quite well done, and the music really cool.
I spent some time watching the sprites, wondering if the face plays pong really fast when dying, only to get back to my little robot actually playing pong ^^
Like others, I found the end abrupt and frustrating, because there's an evolution in the game, and usually, people expect from an evolution to get to a climax, or something. Here, it just gets to a blue screen of death, which is not really satisfying ...
You can see the indie game Perspective, which has a cool evolution and ending (and also wonderful game mechanics).
Anyway, gave 5/5, hoping to see more ;-)
I really appreciate the great write up! Yeah, the ending is pretty abrupt. Some people loved it, some people hated it. I had trouble determining how to end it and that was the best I could do with the game I had without putting a bunch more time into it. The project dragged out much longer than I had intended it to. Thanks very much!
The song gets more and more desynchronized through a play. The impossible badge is now really impossible, unless someone redo this game according to new standards, and now versions of flash.
Second bug : I finished the game, and if I go to the menu again, only the levels that were unlocked last time I went there are unlocked (in my case, all the way to level 16).
Yay ! First bug at level 20. My guy entered from the left side of the screen, then moonwalked all the way, through the walls, to his starting place XD
Amazing feature !
Hey ! I didn't notice that hard levels was inspired of normal ones on my first playthrough !
But now I'm stuck at the 6th hard level ...
First circle ...
Yay ! Really liked the new normal levels. Especially the last one.
Just a little thing, in the level 13, third circle, the hole above the circle is smaller than it appears. Strange (ö_ô)
Gonna try the new hard levels !
