Well, no success yet. However I am now seeing an interesting message, namely "You must make room in your augment inventory before collecting this GOPHER", which suggests I simply do not know how to find my augment inventory.. Any suggestion for where it may be?
Thanks for the reply, Sven. I had previously tried dragging and dropping without any apparent effect, i.e. no dragging animation nor augment show in the respective slot. Will try again though. Oh and just in case this might be a browser-specific bug, I am using Firefox 81.
How does one get the True Story achievement? I can no longer get any DNA expansions (144/144) or DIE (full tree) and was hoping that would be the point by which I would get that achievement.
One does not simply get the True Story achievement...until there is a BBC (Big Black Circle) in the middle of the tree, that will lead you to the desired achievement
For me the arrow up/down keys as well as the space key only move the game window up or down, thereby making this game unplayable. How about WASD as alternative inputs?
What do I actually need to do to save the game? Last time I tried the S button, but never saw any message that anything was saved and now the game is starting over. No big deal, but I would like to know before I invest more time.
I had 14 diamonds before clicking on Upgrades, in Upgrades only clicked on Back, but afterwards only 1 diamond is left. Something seems a bit broken here.
After playing this version off and on many times starting today it is no longer loading (99%). My guess is that it may have to do with this message in the console log, indicating a newly missing file on the Kong server:

It would be better if there was some keyboard control to restart the level. Currently we seem to have to swap back and forth every few seconds while we learn the game, which gets annoying.
In response to the hard reset question in game, in my opinion the game does need balance changes. If that cannot be done without a hard reset, then so be it. Nobody likes hard resets, but games also have to be remain fun and often that cannot be accomplished without a rebalance.
Nice game. My only gripe so far is that apparently I have to switch from keyboard to mouse each time I die. Is there really no button I can press to restart?
Nice game. The only thing I don't like all that much is the need to double-click all the time. It is very unusual for browser games and I as such keep forgetting.

As you upgrade the zone the diamonds will shrink, and eventually let the balls pass :)
