BladePHF - isn't the point of a potential CRITICAL hit to "drop someone in one turn?"
The whole point of having a CRIT attack is SO you might get lucky and drop someone in one hit... I'm not saying there's no luck involved in the game, but there's a lot more strategy involved than you're giving credit for. Perhaps you just need to play more skilled opponents.
Badges? We don't need no stinkin badg... err, wait - yeah. Get some badges for this piece!
ps. does this game end? I've gotten to like 1500 pts. and whatever lvl that is, but I'd like to know if there was an ending somewhere...
ps. Take out that damn planet in the middle of the background, and those of us that have a hard time seeing what's what with 645,000 pieces of flying things around might have a bit better time sorting through the mess. Overall, game play's not pathetic, but the random, hectic, hard-to-see nature of everything only warrants a 3/5 rating from me.
meh. got to lvl 28 by just frantically moving around. With all the action and VERY limited area with which to move around in, I find it almost impossible to skillfully avoid tiny meteors and enemy shots while trying to collect 'debris'. The whole game is 'debris'. I don't think I'll bother to keep trying for the hard badge. The game has annoyed me enough already.
why do people feel the need to tell others HOW to rate? I agree with Aeiou - if you like the game, give it a good rating, if not, give it a bad rating. Sorry rating police, but anyone who plays the game is entitled to rate that game HOWEVER they want to.
figure out the patterns, get as many hits in a row as you can, and avoid dying. If you time it right, you can defeat Fulp (in the Knight's armor) while he is just off the left side of the screen. He will turn into the skull while still off the screen - continue to slash away... as long as the skull does not reach his first position, you can defeat it before he even throws one single fireball. I couldn't tell how many hits I got in a row, but I easily got under the time limit (best was 4,266 even when fighting the skull legit), and maxed out in upgrades. (last upgrade is some gay lollipop girl or something)
I don't have any problem with the style of the game nor with the difficulty level. But holding down the spacebar while simply moving around is not my idea of fun. Aiming, powerups, being able to shoot incoming projectiles, etc. could be an improvement - but as it stands, the game gets tedious after about 2 1/2 minutes. That, to me, does not deserve a rating higher than 3/5. But of course, to each their own.
It doesn't get a bad rating because it's difficult. It gets a bad rating because many of us feel that it's boring and dull. I forced myself to die with 5 lives left after the first wave because I was already bored with the game.
