There's an exp cap, and you can't buy upgrades until the exp cap is overcome, and there's no apparent way to get 1500 ink in 30 seconds. Also, way too many popup tutorial windows, while still getting started, and without actually helping the player get started.
There isn't an exp cap but there is a challenge limit to overcome to continue progressing every 5 levels. There is no restriction on buying upgrades - you can open the side menu with the menu button under your shells to upgrade, among other things. Thanks for the feedback - I will try to improve pop-ups so they are better paced but I tried to set them up to show how to play, upgrade, and explain things like the 5th-level cap to avoid the confusion you are having here.
All kinds of broken. Tutorial was broken because I couldn't click the tile to place a rail. Then I had to hit "skip" and I was trying to figure it out in the manual under the "?". Then the game froze. Weeeeeee.
Good game but not great. Way too much scrolling required, especially when you can't collapse Earth resources. I have to scroll down to get to Hydrogen, then scroll back up to upgrade storage, then scroll back down to get to Helium, then scroll back up to upgrade that storage... you get the idea.
Holy crap. 24 hour timers clogging up what can be done, 5 minutes into the "game." When does the fun START? I would rather play Tic-Tac-Toe against myself.
Sit and wait for coins to go to another screen to buy stuff, to basically play plague, but without all the real-world self-explanatory elements? When's the fun start?
1) The game doesn't keep focus if you click outside the window. 2) That shaking/spazzing TV advertisement is really annoying and distracting. 3) Idle games with save issues don't keep people playing. Otherwise, good start.
The game doesn't save often enough, and then crashes when you making major changes. It's hard to invest time in an idle game that doesn't keep track of progress.
