To get him to order a drink, the first time you see him change the writing on the board first. Then wait for maybe 20 seconds and he should say "hit me again" or something and the barkeep should take his money. Worked for me anyway, hope it helps!

Brilliant game, but a way to mark tiles which you know don't contain anything wouldn't go amiss.

Level 32, cut a tiny corner off the top-left but make sure the string is still attached, watch it go crazy.
