This fun was fun, so I played it a lot. But lost all progres due to dodgy connections. I don't see the point of making a kongregate version if it's going to be half-baked. I won't be wasting any more time. 1/5 - a lot more if it worked
Twice now this game has deleted my saves, once after getting stuck animating. I'm not one to give up easily, but until this is fixed I'm not going to waste any more of my time.
Good artwork, but find-the-next-pixel-to-click 'gameplay' doesn't provide much entertainment. Granted it's a copy of The Vistor, but it ought to add at least something original.
A very well made game, good style, design and original gameplay. However my one critisism is that the balance is off. On my first play I got all the way through without my base being hit once. I'm a big fan of open-ended gameplay, but in this instance it needed a bit more structure to provide some level of challenge. That said, I've rated it 4* in the hopes it gets an update or expansion.
I think jbaird has a good point there. Would work well on DS or touchscreen phones. Simple but fun gameplay. Would be great as a quick distraction on the move. Love the art style too. Had a few issues in firefox, but worked fine on another machine.
Well done Mike and Nick (and music guy :) )
Very good game, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Self-referential meta-humour isn't everyone's cuppa, but then nor are final fantasy-esque RPGs. It's not perfect; there a quite a few bugs and typos, but I appreciate the amount of work that's gone into this and tip my hat to Pseudowolf. I look forward to the following chapters with eager anticipation.
Man! Completed level 30 just as Kongregate went down. Now it's wiped my progress. Can't be bothered doing it again. Still, if I want I can check the in-game scores and I only have to click the 'Next 10' button 452 times. Woop
