This game is so awesome it hurts... ...right up until larger maps, then you're just hopelessly fumbling around wondering why no one is building your sniper tents but they're happily running between depots doing nothing. 5/5 until the last map of the campaign... then I found it unplayably frustrating.
This game definitely needs a "If you click off-stage, pause the game" feature... as much as you're clicking, sometimes you miss the game and click the browser, at which point all the badguys eat you and it makes you want to ragequit life.
I found this to be one of the more polished TD's on kong with pretty graphics/menus and fun sounds. This game does suffer slightly by being slow at points as you're just waiting for the enemies to be raked slowly across your towers. I wish there were better instructions. If you upgrade a tower's stats and then buy the bigger tower, did you just waste a lot of money or does the stat upgrades boost the upgraded tower's new stats. Inversely, if you buy straight to an upgraded tower, did you just short yourself by not being able to upgrade the stats all the way? But overall, the game is well balanced, I never felt like I was getting pwned nor that I was destroying everything with a single overpowered tower. Well done, 4/5
I find the "poor handling" comments funny. This is a Ship. Not a car. There are a few bugs, like sometimes when i try to load a level, it gets stuck loading and just loads forever and I have to refresh the page. I found it to be a really fun game that could benefit from some of the suggestions in the comments already about better upgrade system, better zoom system, etc
I thought this game was pretty sweet. Like the other posts, it gets really repetitive, and there are a few bugs I came across, namely, I sent 5 knight groups into a neutral territory with minimal defenders, I killed 0 people, all my guys were wiped out, yet when it got back to the map screen, they had no guys defending anymore. Next round I threw 5 more knights at it only to be completely wiped out by no one.
"Unfriendly" is right. Ralfo is right. All you do is press arrows and die. The text is small. There's no connection to your character as you're with them an average of 10 spaces, This is a good Framework for a good game. But it's just not there yet.
Everything Archaic said + when enemies respawn, they seemed to respawn in the same spot. Iff I got them together and slowed myself down to a stop, i could just hover and hose them. random respawns
Upgrades, Why would you even need to move the ship? There's no way to move it out of the way of the planes dropping bombs so... i found that part kindof pointless
to make this a credible "bartending" game for the masses, maybe you should have an accurate way to measure other than "click and hold" followed up with some recipes that tie in to your website... this would make this game better.
Brilliant game.. i loved the combinations of game mechanics and the history. there were a few minor things that could've been improved upon, but well done. Well done.
