I always wondered what playing nonograms would be like with decent graphics and cool music! Thanks for this! More puzzles plz! The Japanese site is the only one that fulfills my need for new puzzles (at up to 50x50 grids).
Such a simple concept, yet executed well with plenty of well-designed levels to accompany the project. I hope you passed your course with flying colors and get hired on ASAP!
Bugs just reduced the rating from a 5 to a 3: during the "twins" mission, shooting one then zooming out/in and shooting the other resulted in no second body, and no mission success. Had to shoot an innocent to try again.
Again on "twins" mission, shooting the correct location while the other walked behind for a 2-in-1 shot resulted in no mission success. Had to shoot an innocent to try again.
Buggy. Enemy blew itself up, and the arena moved to overlap the Main Menu button, thus blocking the "yes" button from being clicked. Progression stopper. Low rating.
Issues or no, I'm impressed with a very streamlined and artistic interface, and some decent gameplay as well. Good job! I look forward to future installments!
The idea behind Picross is to be able to solve the puzzle with no trial and error at all. That's the point behind a logic puzzle. The system in this game where you allow 5 guesses detracts from the original Picross concept so much, that I cannot continue to play any more.
Seems to be a problem with the loader - I have to wait for it to load data, then refresh the browser when the loading bar reaches 100% and there's a lock icon in the lower-left. After refresh, the game loads correctly.
Someone needs to read the Instructions (Yawner).
This is a pretty good implementation of pictocross games. The one website I like is at http://tonakai.aki.gs/picturelogic/index_e.html
Didn't want to comment until I played through the entire game; I just finished with Engineer, and I must say, it's as good as I expected, given the "taste" from the original Talesworth Arena. Thanks for putting in the time to make an excellent game!
I love these type of games. It's like those really old vibrating football games. You take 30 minutes to set up your men in really complex formations, then turn on the board and watch the fools jiggle around and stuff. Fun!
Sun-studios.net is Daniel Sun, a fitting name for his studio portfolio. He is not 18, as this uploader is. Armorgames would also likely upload this instead of the creator. Chance of stolen material: very high.
