Like many flash games, mouse clicks do not register if the cursor is moving when the mouse button is released. This causes problems for when you're frantically tracking the ball trying to keep it aloft. Nice simple gameplay otherwise!
Bosses are NOT in the 4 corners. You encounter them as you progress toward one edge (keep heading the same direction until you start finding them).
I actually played all the way through to one corner, with nothing tougher than the "most evil bubble monster" which appear in pairs. There's no way I'm going to try to play to another corner, ugh.
People who make these turret defense games need to understand: a rectangular playfield is NOT a good game mechanic. Snowmobiles entering from the top/bottom cannot be killed before they reach the fort.
Fun for 8-10 minutes. Needs an indicator to show how much you've upgraded each stat, and if it's capped or not.
Always keep your boosts and dbl strikes for bosses. With the strategy 1) boost, 2) dbl strike, you hit for 170-200 in the early levels and easily defeat bosses.
This RPG gets better with each installment! Eagerly awaiting the next chapter!
Well, I've gotten some extra story missions. They're not too involved, and it seems a little too easy to build up your ship, but otherwise this is a decent sim, balance notwithstanding :)
I like it. Has the potential to become on the level of Elite or Starcon. I didn't play far enough in to see, but is there a set of story missions to do beyond the "Welcome" series?
