Try leaving the area with the stumps and re-entering, so the stumps go grey again. Then to do 5-12-9 thing. When you touch a stump, it'll go from grey to green.
It'd be a good game, regardless of the turns system, and I think it would get a lot of gameplays anyway. Probably more.
How many other games have to resorted to this to bring back players?
This "turns per day" system is ridiculous. I wish I could play the game for more than ten minutes each day.
