Very good for a mouse-based rhythm game--but I prefer stomping on DDR pads a whole lot more! The music doesn't seem to fit, either--shouldn't it sound more like scratching records than synthesizers? Still, very innovative use of the mouse, a controller that really isn't meant for rhythm games.
Nice game. People don't "loose" races, though (they "lose" them) and the "you've been playing for five minutes so I need to advertise another website in the middle of the race!" menu has GOT to go.)
Also two more words that would make this totally awesome: Online multiplayer.
Good start. It needs to be easier to get the puffball to move from side to side--it can be very difficult to get the puffball away from a wall. Also, the combo gauge should be easier to read--the size difference isn't enough to tell at a quick glance what the next target is.
Normal stages are okay and bosses are fun, but a lack of continues/passwords just ruins the game. I don't think it's worth it to go through 20 normal stages all over again to get another shot at boss 2.
The game's improved--and is actually fairly playable by now--but could still use a lot more polish. Random powerups/downs aren't much fun. No sound effects hurts, too. And the yak should look shielded when shielded--one shouldn't have to check a separate part of the screen to know that the yak is invincible.
To Sylicas: I've completed the points challenge. There's still way too much debris on the playfield, sacrificing gameplay for the sake of not-particularly-impressive graphics.
Good idea, poor execution. There needs to be more meteors in the beginning and far, far less at 100. Also, the random powerup/powerdown system isn't much fun.
Quick, everyone--save a misshapen earth from flying dildos! Oh, and it seems that the rockets can spawn on Bizarro Earth, ending the game immediately. Awful stuff.
