Don't be hatin', but the hard badge really isn't that bad. Start off like the other guys say "2 band, 2 launcher". I only earned like $200 the first day, but I put it all back into band. I then launched straight up again. The key is getting straight up or move ever so slightly sideways so you can see platforms going up and know where they are at coming down. Next max out parachutes then maybe one E-rocket then max out band and launcher. I was done in four days easily. The hardest part is starting on a day where there are a lot of platforms straight up from eachother, but as long as you find that in day 1, 2 or 3 you really don't need to reset every day (it's still a lot of luck, though!). Hope this helps. I got the first two badges in 2009 and come back every once in a while. This new strategy got me the hard badge in only 3 resets (and I was done in 6 and 7 days on two of the tries).
I'm usually a big fan of these types of games. This one has a lot of potential. However, the later levels are simply a game of "who can control the lab first", and it becomes monotonous and frustrating.
Would've been a 4/5 but giving 3/5 because of the split-screen on Tower of Glory where it's basically pure luck to get the switch. Kind of a dick move from a development standpoint. ;)
Anyone have any tips for beating Weapon 2/6 on crazy? It's the only one I can't beat. The last two levels were a breeze even on crazy, but I cannot figure out the strategy for Weapon 2/6!!!!
Well screw me sideways. I paused my game (I was on level 31) to come back to it later and accidentally hit the "give up" button even though the game was paused. Anybody know how to restart back where I was or am I going to have to start all over?
Awesome! Another great game by the Podge. Would still like to see a pirate themed game and would like a hotkey for speedup so I can keep the cursor in place for quickly laying down stones for better timing on the harder levels.
Level 19 is a hooker that needs to be severely beaten! I've tried the walkthrough on this level for the ace time and have literally done it probably 200 times with no success. Does anyone happen to have any tips on how they got ace on 19?
The hard badge is actually really easy. Get the heavy soldier every time and let them grab the flag and bring it back for you! Don't get any other units otherwise you'll water down your ground strength. From there, use auto aim and pick off anyone who comes near your flag guy. I usually beat each level only facing two waves of troops. + if this worked for you, so others can see it.
Words don't describe how awful this game is. Even with branimirb's strategy it's still extremely difficult. There's no real skill, just fling shit at the hills and hope you can win. Only here for badge.
Any tips for beating the 8th challenge? The one with the cheap equipment? I've probably spent more time trying to beat this one level than all the other levels combined.
