i gotta say, it's too hard for me :P not that i don't like a challenge, i do trust me, i just don't have the time to really go through all of it. too bad i guess
ok so, my only problem with this game, is that if you do the exact same thing twice, it will have different results. Now i thought this, and to put it to the test i used mouse recorder pro 2 (a useful bot). recorded a script to pass lvl 22, it works approximately 50% if the time. What variables changed that would cause this? not a serious problem, still a 4/5, but i don't like games like that in general. it starts to become about luck, not skill or technique.
hey did you use the walkthrough? if so guess what, it's another page on the kong site, which means... you're disconnected! this means no badge! ha- failure on at least some of your guys parts.
i dunno, i didn't really have any trouble with any of the puzzles, and it's rare that i say this but i think it could have been a little harder, good game, and an interesting concept. but overall i'd only give it a 3/5
You can change them at the ending screen so as not to lose a one of a kind item, such as the lightning rod or if you have it equipped on verhn, champion sword. Also there are a few missable items and encyclopedia entries. Item: keyblade: 50% drop from zombie lockpick boss, yes you can fight him twice (in game and arena), but you can still miss it. item: trilobyte key IV, DON'T KILL GOPE. if you read, you'd see you weren't supposed to anyway. item: tunic, at the end of ch 1 store it in item storage, you'll still have it, though it's pretty bad, but for all item challenge necessary. Encyclopedia: from ch 1, deugans father (also aquirable in ch 3) in ch 1 go to the wep shop and talk to him. There's more, but not a whole lot more, if you do the sidequests (zombie dragon, arena, ch 1 lead pipe quest) thumbs up if you found this useful
ok so i've been playing this game for awhile now, in this chapter alone i've put over 20 hours, so here are a few tips if you want em. Skill training grounds: tainted grotto. why? even though they're weak, it's one of the few places with both types of attacks, physical and magical. also, they're weak, so one hit kill when you've mastered the skill. LVL training grounds, catacombs behind the first moric fight, the reason, highest lvl characters in the game, one hit kills with vehrn and mardek, equip both with silver sword, two of them are found in chests, be thorough. For learning skills quickly in general, fight guys who the skill heals, then you won't kill and easily learn skill. by the end of the game you can easily be lvl 17 or 18. If you're going for all items in game (which might be suggested, especially the misc monster drops) buy two (or find two) or an equip for all you chars except mardek.
umm i was alive at 0 to begin with. why did it kill me? i see the flaw! otherwise decent game i suppose, i kinda agree with bballoni in saying that the main challenge of the game shouldn't be jump from this part exactly, but i did like the semi-puzzle feel to it especially at the end. somewhat original concept, in a sense similar to any exp gathering game, get exp evolve, get more, win. but decent none the less. i give it a 4/5 just because i feel it could use some more work
if you're using flash cs4, you have to define the function before it's use in the onEnterFrame() function. as such put it by your variables, easy fix just letting you all know
so for those of you who want to know, the games difficulty does not vary with what choices you make (the sprites are all the same size and the collision detection does not change). What does change is everything gets darker the more options that you follow what the narrator says, or you get a nice little particle effect that makes many pretty colors all around you. i personally think this has to do with the idea of "if you listen to what other people say, everything gets darker, gets more stressful, more important. but if you don't.... the only thing that really changes is how it looks, the work is still there, it just looks different." well that's my opinion 5/5 very nice game. BTW i count a few different endings. i think there's only two really different endings, but multiple ways of getting there. i'm not a hundred percent I've only played through it 3 times
29 is pretty much all luck. took me 10 tries, 30 move over to the left upper quadrant as quickly as possible and just build defenses, you should survive, 34 move quickly, don't let enemies build up their armies
