Since it's single player and a grindy enough on one class the level should just apply across the board for all classes, or tone down the grind several notches
General, the city is under attack by a giant worm. It is avoiding the buildings and only going after people, vehicles, and cows. Should we order an evacuation?'' "No! Spread our forces out throughout the city. One of them might get lucky and kill that creature. Oh, and tell the civilians that they and their cows have nothing to worry about.''
You can reassign your upgrade points at any time; use this to your advantage. If you are damaged and need to hide and heal underwater, decrease your Size (so you can avoid attacks) and increase your Regen and possibly your Breath, Diving, and Bonus as well. Increase Size, Speed, and Toughness for attacking ships. If you need to attack aliens or get the bird or moon achievements, increase Diving and Boost. Leave one weak ship alive at the end of a level (and increase your Hunger) to give you time to focus on the achievements. Try to get as many achievements as you can early on otherwise the game may get too difficult and you could get stuck on a level.

This game has improved exponentially. First, we can start from the last wave when we die (no more rage quits!) we have a ship manual (awesome!) and we have UPGRADES (addictive!)! Congratulations, Camaleonyco! I love the humor too :D
