The sphere is a lie. Initially I was like "I can rotate pieces! All I have to do is go up 1/4 revolution right 1/4 revolution and down 1/4 revolution. On a sphere that would rotate the world 90 degrees." But it turns out its just a grid with wrap around. 5/5 for a game played on an impossible shape.
great game...i get bugs where buttons dont appear in the right spot but they don't inhibit play really. even a cursory storyline would make this more fun. I would love to see an expansion with opponents on the same map with greater variability of difficulty and an infinite dungeon to level in. Also diplomacy would be fun.
monster corp should spin off monster labs into its own much more successful company because the park makes very little money compared to just creating and selling monsters.
quick guide- max xp perk first, pick Xenon not Kunri II, choose only one weapon to upgrade per ship, if you use a lot of wasp rail barrage, get one command ship and upgrade issue orders. you dont need a ton of ships so ignore most new ships. 6 ships is enough but more or less will also work. Have fun :). There are a lot of very cool strategies you can use to win this game.
quick guide to avoid restart- Always max xp perks first. Always buy and always use max xp equipment. Pick Xenon instead of Kunri II and buy and upgrade the rail barrage of the ship with the kong sticker on it. Wasps are excellent in the early and mid game, but get no more than three of them because they cant kill late game high armor effectively. I went for a final team of 8 ships but more or less ships probably also works. The rest is up to you :). If you follow these tips you should be able to defeat all enemies without restarting.
Great job with this game and great job updating it. Could you add hotkeys for repeat attack and other repetitive elements, option for no animations, and show current item stats when looking at items in inventory. AMAZING GAME 5/5
I like it, but i think you should make about five different stages in the campaign facing increasingly difficult opponents(they start with more defense cards and a score advantage would be easiest to implement). As it is now, by the time you understand how to play, the game is over.
You can see in the code but it's not an organized view
