If the game developer is a native English speaker, then please, go back to school. If not, then please, make the game in your native language. The grammar is attrocious, and almost made me want to quit before I even got through the opening. Effects is a noun. Affects is the verb. Plural nouns get plural verbs. Maintain tense throughout your sentences. This reads like it was written by a 1st grader.

I really like this game, but there are still a *lot* of bugs. After the last monster died in a battle from poison, Kage would "miss" with every spell. (Damage showed, but blue, and no damage registered.) After *that* fight, there was a monster I could not target. Also, there's a bug in the player's favor: 1) Save. 2) Go spend all your money on stuff (inn, items, etc.). 3) Start any battle. 4) Reload the page (so the game gets a hard restart). 5) Continue. You will have all the conditions, HP, MP, and items you had when you reloaded the page. But you will have all the money from your save. Rince & repeat. You can make sure you always have 100% HP, MP, no poison, and all the best gear. For *every* fight.

I love games with gradual upgrade systems like this. However, I don't like games that are basically one random stage, like this. I'd prefer a game with levels that get harder. Predesigned. And possibly with upgrades in earlier stages that you can't get until you've progressed far enough to have other needed upgrades (need to be able to jump high enough, for example.)

5/5 - however, the heal spells are game breakers. As soon as I got even "minor heal", I never had to use my escape wings, again. Stock up on ethers, and heal yourself between fights whenever you get low. Kill *everything*. The monsters will refill your mana relatively fast, and you'll be banking by the time you get to the next merchant floor. Then, stock up on healing potions, as well - and start buying up all the upgraded gear you need. Cake. Walk.

FAR too easy to glitch into walls/ceilings. I'll rate this up if that gets fixed - otherwise, it's a deal breaker of a bug for me.

Great first run for the game. A bit too easy, in my taste, but the last level gave a hint of the difficulties to come...

The "timed" patterns (the ones that are just slim bars, the first one with a number saying how many) are too hard to see on some of the backgrounds.

Bug?: There are situations where it's impossible to pick some squares during movement (a square behind a group of people, for example - the people highlight, instead of the square).

Bug: if a character gets enough XP to level from a poison kill, they don't level.

What's the point of the metal plates with letters on them? I know I missed at least one - way back in the green area, at the top of the shaft in the flooded room. Never went back once I got triple jump...

I love the concept. But, it needs polish. Rather than one cooldown, have each ability have a cooldown, and have a much shorter, global cooldown (a-la mmos. They do this very well.) Perhaps the ability to level the characters, as you play with them, more. I'm getting some horrible lag that makes jumps hard. But that could just be my computer/connection.

Generally fun & pretty, but way too random in the setup to be a real "strategy" game.

I like the concept. The randomness of the evolution REALLY turned me off to it, though. Especially since there's no way to dump unwanted ores. If I get unlucky, I could have to play several times, to see a particular evolution. This is not replayability. This is annoying.

9) The build menus will go off the bottom of the screen when you get more upgrades. This causes a problem when - for example - you have the peashooter, cannon, light machine gun, and flamethrower. If the peashooter is already selected, the flamethrower (and anything after it) will be off-screen. You have to click and select something in the middle to even be able to see the later options.

7) There's a similar click-through issue with building - if there's a tank behind the build menus where you click, you could change it's AI. 8) Most of the upgrades are useless. As other users have said, the flamethrower is overpowered. The bomb launcher seems completely pointless - sure it does more damage than anything else, but compare it with even the light machinegun. 3 damage, at 0.37 firing rate (shots/sec?) and 30 accuracy. That gives an expected damage/second of about 0.333. The light machinegun will give 0.625 damage/second (less damage, but *MUCH* faster, and almost twice as accurate). When the light machinegun only costs 2 coins, and the weaker bomb launcher costs 3, I'm *never* going to use the bomb launcher.

Ah, a couple more: 5) Mass controls. If I have tanks standing ground at a base to wait until I amass a force, it's difficult to get them moving together because they all overlap, and the "AI" buttons don't always overlap exactly (some may start moving, some may go into the overrun mode, and some may stay in stand ground). This brings me to... 6) Clickthrough on the tanks is annoying. If I try to stop a tank where I already have another tank stopped, the click registers on *both* tanks, and can cause the one that is stopped to start moving, unless I *time* my click so that it hits *both* as stand ground (even though the first tank is already standing ground.)

Great concept, but there are TONS of issues: 1) Trying to stop a tank in front of a base you own is a pita: the base's build popup will come up over the tank (particularly noticable in Dragon's Lair), so it's impossible to control the tank until it moves away. 2) It'd be nice to have a pause button. 3) It'd be nice to be able to have tanks default to something other than the normal behavior (particularly, stand ground - great for defensive tanks). 4) Scrolling is agonizingly slow in longer levels (the first cave level in particular - there's only one base to build from, at the beginning... and it's painful to scroll all the way back, and away from the action, to build a tank). I may post others as they come to me...

There are games where philosophy is entwined into a game very well - adding to the feel & enjoyment of the game (for example, Braid. Or Clover.) Unfortunately, this is not one of them. The "philosophy" is introduced so late in the game that it breaks the suspension of disbelief, and left me reeling in irritation at the exposition and sudden explosion of game-halting text.

Other than the mechanics complaints I've had, I love the concept of the game. Some possibilities for any kind of sequel might include branching/classes for the dragon - right now, "raising" the dragon is entirely passive. Being able to raise it to be an ice dragon, or a hydra, etc. might be cool.
