For those complaining about hedges, I think that is what the bombs are supposed to be for. If you can figure out which turtle your brain dead penguins are going for, you can help their pathing a bit. Not enough really, but a bit. Also, IMO the best upgrade by far is the body. It adds a lot of health per upgrade, which is essential in a game where you naturally lose a lot of hp each second. Dev should consider adding hotkeys and something to at least mute the music. It is ok music, but it does get old after a bit and while yes I can mute all of my browser, I would rather be able to just mute this so I don't have to use two different types of browsers. Unfortunately chrome at least doesn't let me use mixer to control individual tab noise. There may be work arounds, but I feel like a couple of options to customize a few settings would go a LONG way to making this feel like a polished experience rather than just a neat idea kind of slopped together into a game.
Well... I just played that for a good hour before finding out there were managers who buy stuff automatically. I was too engaged in micromanaging stuff to realize there were more efficient ways to do things.
I think this game has crashed at least once on every level. It does get pretty challenging towards the end to the point that a speed up button would just make some aspects rather difficult. Good game.
You should let us replay levels to earn more points or at least let us know what upgrading will give us. I thought the game was fun at first, but then the enemy just was way overpowered and I just had to give up. (this was on easy) Maybe I just suck, and I am sure there must be some way to get it right, but without knowing what things do, it is kind of like guessing. This just needs a bit of polish. I'll try again later.
A more efficient strategy than that is to send a crusader to the bottom lane and two hunters on the top and middle lane. on later levels I loved crusaders too, but to not run out on mission 4 you need to conserve crusaders for the end where their strength really matters
Even though I usually don't like the kind of games where you have to wait hours to get things done, this is actually one of my favorite games right now.
One thing that I would really suggest is adding a function to the library or at least somewhere so that you can see the cut scenes that you have already gotten to. The story is usually the point of a game and I just missed one of the cut scenes due to my computer freezing. It would also be nice to see how the storyline progresses. I think the logical place for this would be in the library
To get past horse guys, just use your shield until they are past and hit them from behind, preferably with a forward move so you can stay on their tail until they are dead. Also a quick way to get money when you get to a boss or even on a hard level is to select it, right click, choose play instead of loop and it acts like you won giving you the gold. You don't actually beat the level but you do get the gold.
Greek fire doesn't kill your own troops on this one. Get it to +10 and use the occult rune and you effectively have a nuke for a weapon. towards the end you don't even need an army to take out capital cities. You do have to take off your armor for the ninjas, but it makes the game a piece of cake.
Well, I finally got the game to work. The problem was a real player add-on with firefox. I liked the game idea, it was pretty original. It just needs a story I think.
I am sure that this is a great game, but I seem to have encountered a bug. On the first level I hit a troll and it gives me about 10 coins. Then I hit the next guy with his stone and I get about 1500 coins. Then I hit the third guy on level one and I get so many coins that the player just crashes. I am pretty sure that this is not supposed to happen because I also get an achievement pop up that is supposed to be for killing 200 enemies and I have only killed 3. I am playing on a firefox browser. Don't know what happened but I just thought I would let you know.
Another game to remind us to read the comments before wasting time beating the game only to find that there is a level cap. I really enjoyed the game, but finding myself just short of the skills I thought I was just about to get was rather annoying.
Good game, just some things to think about for future games would be putting the upgrade screen up after you die and before starting, also it was really easy since you could fly into a bunch of bullets and not really ever get hit.
Thank you!
