Yet another stupid card "game" that plays itself, is pay to win, has an energy system, and has no interesting reason to play other than a badge which was probably paid for.
C'mon Kongregate, you used to be better than this.
Alleged "short" videos vary between 30 seconds and 3 minutes (which isn't short) then half the time you have to "share" the video, if you don't, you have to watch it again. Progress is horrifically slow. Gave it one star because it was the first game with badges I've seen that isn't another cash grab trading card clone, this is just a cash grab launcher clone.
Fantastic game, only thing I'd argue it needs is a button that lets you tick off a number that you know you /need/ as opposed to just ones to eliminate. Otherwise I've found I'm going over the same numbers again and again without realising I'm repeating myself.
Started off as a promising game but the eventual grind and lack of progression killed it. The skills tree was average (and the constant ! if you had any left over points, even if you couldn't spend them was annoying) and the increase in stats gained by levels (which were a massive grind) was almost pointless.
Putting a cool down on buying units when there's a limited time to do so is a design flaw that completely escapes me. Given you can only purchase new units at certain times (which also escapes reason given you get more money than you can usually use per level) it makes preparing for a level (notably 14) needlessly difficult.
Average, uninspired gameplay, constant begging for Kreds, upgrades take too long through gameplay to force purchase with Kreds (see begging for Kreds). Basically Temple Run without the temples and with more begging for Kreds.
Horribly slow to start with, almost no difficulty curve or grinding due to either absurd amounts of money or upgrades that are priced too cheaply. I only repeated a level once because I didn't have the auto grenades for the Yeti Babies. It's a great idea, but as others have said, upgrade your auto-cannons and read a book.
Limited deployment time and buying cooldown was made due to balance purposes.
