One of the more dull idle/incremental games on Kong. There just don't seem to be many systems to unlock or grow, and the ones that exist seem pretty bland. Must have the high rating because of the anime girl and the young age of Kong's average user.
KryptCeeper, while maybe coming off as rude, gives the best badge advice. The badge for this 'game' can simply be earned by walk left, mashing space (or clicking), walk right, mashing space (or clicking), for about 3 minutes.
What an overrated game. I guess 2017 was truly a sad year for Kongregate games, if this made the "best of". Awful balance, cookie cutter gameplay, extremely limited upgrades, a Premium class that's game-changing.
Echoing other sentiments on this one. It was terrible and far too grindy on mobile, and they didn't bother changing anything about it to have it here. The word "tap" on a non-mobile Kongregate site irks me to no end. Not to mention, the game is extremely boring and pales in comparison to the series' predecessors.
Anyone who says this is genius or calls it a masterpiece must really think lowly of their society or themselves. I would call this a basic understanding of human nature that should be perceived and taught early. Not much of a game. I spent the most time waiting for a certain shape to bump into another shape.
Stuff like this is why I don't bother coming much to Kong anymore. Too much mobile-able ripoff garbage, not enough enthralling games. I've played more robust, fun, original stuff on my Android phone, for years now. Why did this get badges?
Level 49 in the walkthrough is utter luck. It's unfortunate how much luck is piled on top of ridiculous precision and as others have said, no way to easily track or map your shot trajectories.
Nope, I will never get this hard badge. This game is simply too bad. The itemization is very generic and predictable, yet you are rarely able to get anything worthwhile for your level. The shop doesn't provide much incentive, as you know that any purchases made now will short change you later. Stats don't affect enough and you're given very little choice of how to develop your character. The Arcane Rift requiring a guild and giving random bad effects each time is an awful piece of game design. Why would you bother making it competitive when it's so random? Way too much grinding, and the rewards for "completing" a level are almost universally junk for the level that you receive them at. Is the quintessential Diablo 2 really that hard to make a decent rip off of?
Too much focus on premium content with not enough to really offer. Gameplay wise, the 2D platformer approach is interesting, but the depth just isn't there. Make more upgrade paths and give more honor per game. The pacing is slow and only getting an upgrade or two per map feels dull. Use Gemcraft or Cursed Treasure as an example of upgrades done right, and not so much to the new tide of games like Kingdom Rush.
Gotta love when people give feedback that's less than 5/5, they get "downvoted", but people get "upvoted" just for saying "nice game". As if the developer only would want to hear blind praise rather than honest criticism. Anyway, a fairly dull game (more of just a puzzle...) but must be played for the badge.
I have to agree with brainisdead, this game gets boring very quickly and feels more like luck and timing rather than strategy or thinking. Interesting for a while, but playing past level 10 is dull and feels pointless. Kudos to those willing to stick it out for 50 more levels of this for 30 points.
It's too bad I don't like the monster levels. The TD portion is a definite 5/5. Monster levels just feel clunky, sporadic and unpredictable in difficulty. The memory limit is unfortunate as well.
Won't let me abandon quests. A clunky interface, repetitive gameplay, and very few improvements over the prior iterations. It's sad to see how little this franchise has come from the original, which I liked a lot.
EphY's comment should be much higher. The gold scarab scores are absurdly high and take away from the objective of the round. Yet another unpolished game with untapped potential by Nerdook.
It would be nice if the hard badge were feasible without sound. Interesting take on a dreadfully boring game. You should put your talents to use on something original!
Well done on premium content. I hardly noticed it was there, and yet it seemed to offer a good value and nothing you couldn't play the game without having. Because I got plenty of hours of play from #3 and expect the same from #4 and it was well done, I went ahead and bought the pack.
I remember why I gave up on this game - auto-leveling mobs. Ruins the RPG experience. Hopefully the next one will be better, as this is the low of the series so far.
Fair enough, but they've all had enemies that levelled with the party.
