game freezes seemingly at random, making it impossible to click on or interact with anything in the game. only way to get it to stop is to reload. This has happened to me on Safari and Firefox, and on different computers as well.
Please forgive me leaving a comment about game mechanics before finishing the game, but I wanted to say something while it was on my mind.
I really wish there was an ability to ask the shop (emporium) to hunt around for specific effects on gear - in exchange for a significant increase in price (i mean shoot, they know you want it now, the cat's out of the bag). I love building lifesteal on my characters in rpg games, that's why I always played as a vampire in skyrim- nothing is more powerful than something that can take a hit, then top off on health using it's enemies life force- and gear with vampirism is so rare here
for the majority of the game, you did an excellent job guiding the player back and forth along lines to encourage just enough grinding to be able to progress, but not so much that it detracts from the enjoyability of the game. And then there was the cross map quest for the fourth city that makes you cross the map several times. To be honest, it was exclusively painful to cross from one far extreme of the map to the other twice for one quest. I mean, you could at least throw the offer of spending like 10k gold to teleport to any city you have visited previously, you could easily ellipses to a cover screen with text saying 'traveling' then remove the cover screen to reveal the player being in the new town. This little quality of life improvement would really encourage more players to go from reaching the endgame to actually finishing the game, as from what I can see a lot of people see the cross-map quest and immediately say 'nope!'
all i have is silver and gold, and it wont let me purchase wood off the market. if i send my 20 people out, they'll die. if I don't, they'll die anyway. ugh..
900k plays and only 11,500 hard badges awarded. considering how boring it gets by the end of the second island, i see why so few people stuck around for three more
would it be possible to add a list of which mobs have access to dropping what loot, and it's rarity? Preferably with some sort of representation of chance of looting each item so we can visually understand HOW rare it is
the worse part about the first boss fight is how stupid the ai is. "oh, there are giant fireballs falling from the sky? i'll just stay right under them." and if you try and move them yourself, as soon as you let go of one, they walk right back to the fireballs
Noted, thank you for your suggestion. Just info, we will made a new game Valthirian Arc, it's called Valthirian Arc: Red Covenant. You can see it on kickstarter. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/agatestudio/valthirian-arc-red-covenant
xdanond, thank you for the Tessa ending. Like seriously, you just gave me a new perspective that just changed my life. After playing this game a few separate times to see all the endings, i realize now that all the endings are inspirational or moving in their own way- but the Tessa ending really touched both my heart, and my life
It would be really nice if you could sort your swornswords in the Keep interface. I would suggest sorting options to be: max/min swornsword rank, and highest/lowest in each of the three stat types. maybe have a horizontal bar for sorting in the keep interface, right above or below the "your swornswords, recruit, adventure party" buttons. then you could space out the min/max buttons so all of them are visible and you don't have to spam through one button and hope you stop on the right one. If you put the icon with a selectable button next to it that changed from max to min (because higher stat swordswords are more useful), then copy/paste the formula two more times for the other stats then once more for rank, and changed the icons, it would be a fully functioning, easy to interpret interface that really improves the life of the higher leveled players who hate manually surfing through each sworn sword until they find one high enough
Honestly the only thing bad about this game (other than not being able to report hackers), is the way the bracket system is set up. its so hard to tell yourself that if you just keep playing a little bit longer, you'll get a lvl up and unlock a gun that will help you actually win against people who are far higher lvl than you. going from top dog to bottom feeder every single time you go pass one of the lvlcaps on rooms is really painful
