A fun, innovative little game. I never once felt frustrated with the mechanics, and the ability to solve a problem with any design I wanted was a lot of fun. Plus, I love Wallace and Gromit...
I finally killed the damned alien following me around at the beginning after it killing me 4 times, only to have another one spawn right away and kill me.
Went ahead and changed my rating to a 3/5. I don't really like the game, but thought did go into it. A few issues to address.
1. Auto lock on nearest enemy. It's extremely frustrating trying to maneuver for advantage when your guys go squirreling off every time an enemy unit wanders by.
2. Unit drifting. I can't tell you how many times I'd try to maneuver a unit into flanking position to try to gain the upper hand in a fight, only to have it start drifting back towards the base halfway through.
3. The damned circling level. It takes already difficult to maneuver units with lock-on issues, and puts them in a washing machine cycle. This level was the final straw for me on this game.
Better luck on your next game.
Watched bombing run 27 times, because I had reduced it to 1 enemy base. Targeted me 13 of the first 15 times, so I moved to bottom right hand corner. Targeted me 9 of the next 12 times after that. Rated 1/5 because I hate when the computer cheats to win.
This is just dumb. I've been keeping track, on level 17 I'm playing Dwarves, and both the Orcs and Humans are spending 200+ gold from just their castles per turn. NO effing way to keep up with them. Downrated for artificially inflated difficulty.
