At times, I see the geek going over 1,000 feet per second. This would mean a mile every 5.3 seconds or so. This is about 11 miles per minute. Which, as it happens to be, is 39600 mph. The fastest any humans have traveled is 36,000 miles an hour in a space shuttle. Gentlemen, we have broken a new world record. Also, that must be a very high gravity planet for the nerd not to have been going out of orbit.
Randomghost 1500% Boost + 21 minutes of double exp & gold + A fast mouseclicking hand + The button + 1500 insta-progresses = from Level 748 to Level 765 and an extra 40 million gold to go along with it. My hand is tired.
I actually could not finish the game the first time around because I cried too hard. I'm stuck here, addicted to these games, wasting all my time in here when there's a wonderful world outside to explore. And I can't kick this addiction no matter how hard I try. And I know it too - and in fact this addiction has near ruined the past 2 years of my life. Tomorrow, I'm going outside.
Good concept, and somewhat well made - but very easy. Most Kongregaters aren't 7 year olds.
Also, screw you Wyoming. You look too much like Colorado.
3/5 for the effort.
Something tells me I'm one of the few that does not experience lag problems, does not mind the circle control too much, and loads the game in under 30 seconds.
I've just read through a decent amount of the comments here and I find that the fact this game has badges has near ruined the high rating for this game, forcing people to get into the gameplay, and not letting people realize how awesome this game is without the gameplay. The storyline is funny, yes - although playing through songs is somewhat annoying and earning enough money to do some things can get tedious. People need to realize: YOU ARE ONLY EXPLORING THE GAME PORTION OF THIS. When people are smart enough to realize that this is a great game without all of that gameplay and playing at concerts is when they're rate something over a 1 or 2. I'm keeping my rating at 5/5 for the same reasons I listed before. And a Guitar Hero-like control scheme would have made it easier, but rather unoriginal - if Guitar Hero had never existed I might have rated it a 4 instead. And I do have to admit creating a good song is time-massacre. But in this case, the pros outweigh the cons, by far.
