Is there some invisible value shifting when you purchase a cpu upgrade and it doesn't increase the GHz? Because it's sort've annoying spending quadrillions on upgrades with no visible change in effect.
That thing the hero does, where you tell him to go stand in a specific spot, but it's just close enough for him to decide to go back and start attacking again and die? That's super annoying. You should really make that... not happen.
Could stand to have some rebalancing done with the MP/HP stat: with the fact they make the pools get bigger, but potions still restore the same amount, there's not really a point in putting points into them. If recovery items and regen rates were based on percentages it would make them far more useful. (And potentially allow players to use different builds, like magic focused builds, without having to stand around waiting an hour between fights for MP to rebuild.)
Would be nice if shift-clicking equipment would auto-equip them, if putting them in the hotkey slots would allow you to switch between them rather than just taking up space, and if it were more obvious where exactly the hitboxes are/make hitboxes larger on enemies and attacks, so one doesn't miss on shots that seem like they should hit.
Trying to configure keys the way they have the system set up is painful. Please just make a single menu with all options shown, so you can change things back and forth without having to repeat the process if you miss anything.
Survival badge is way too easy to get once you get the rocket launcher available. Buy infinite jumping and press repeatedly to keep yourself above the screen, and just stomp when you see a support you need before flying back above again.
Decently entertaining, but I did notice a bug- I occasionally got stuck inside the bricks that you're supposed to move instead of actually moving them. Pressing left or right makes the move sound, but doesn't actually produce movement- eventually repeatedly pressing jump while moving back and forth I was able to jump free, and afterwards they worked fine though.
Making it all the way to the last boss the first time only to find out "Oh by the way, it doesn't matter if you have the skill to get here as you can't even hit it until you grind through every bloody mission" is, shall we say, not fun. In the "makes me want to say f*** this, quit, and rate you down rather than wasting time going through it another dozen times or so because of pointless blocking" sort of way. If I couldn't beat it for lack of skill, fine- but not even being allowed to try is retardedly poor design.
For some reason, basically every single scoped weapon causes enough lag to make them more or less useless to actually play with. Highly disappointing, considering the additional accuracy would be appreciated.
*Gets through easy and medium badges in easy mode using mousepad*
*Gets to speed of 1000 using mousepad in easy mode*
*Realizes hard badge, unlike other two, has to be hard mode*
Headdesk. F*** that. Mouse time.
As a side-note, having now acquired the hard badge, I must say that the people who decided to implement moving square obstacles are bad people, and should feel bad about themselves.
Needs to have the option to power up the upgrades after you've bought them all. By the point you're almost but not quite to the hard badge, it just becomes annoying that you're still getting thousands of gold, but there's nothing you can spend it on, and no point in completing any missions.
"I sure do love those levels where all my weapon and ring choices and unit upgrades amount to nothing because instead of sending what I want, when I want, somebody decided I could only send specific units or use specific maces at randomly determined times and levels!" -no one, ever
This would be a fun little game, if not for the ridiculous lag issues that make it unplayable. Why has this not been fixed, when it was published almost two years ago?
It's just me, sorry. I felt bad for a few seconds but then I was overcome with this overpowering urge to laugh maniacally.
