@grolox: there is a trick to the sniping. After you hit a target, you have a little bit of time to aim before you reload. Do a rough aim at the next target and hold your mouse steady while you reload. When you are ready to fire again you should only have to make a minute adjustment (likely for wind change). It also helps to work from left to right (to minimize time spent aiming) and to NOT use your extra zoom, with the exception of the moving target in the very back.
Managed to get the hard badge :). While I'll admit that it is harder than the average hard badge, it wasn't too bad; it is way too easy to make into an impossible. Just have some patience and come into the challenges with a plan. After a bit of practice you'll get the execution.
There is one major flaw with the Hostile Arena challenge: holding space skips you through the score screen without showing you how you did. Considering that you have to hold space to look out of cover, one CAN NOT look at the screen. So very obnoxious
I'm surprised so few players have the second hard badge. If you have some patience, grind the later stages to buy out the goodies from the shop and stock up on heals. Once that is accomplished reaching 50 levels in the endless dungeon is quite easy; it is only a matter of time. Considering how much fun this game is, investing some time is not a bad thing at all.
I'm not opposed to the idea of more play time equaling new/better weapons. But the difference between a new player and one with tons of play time is ridiculous! Even if the newer player was equally skilled he wouldn't have a chance. See the Call of Duty games for how weapon unlocks SHOULD work.
um... I seem to be stuck. I might be missing something, but I can only reach 3 rooms. One is a dead end, the second has yellow beams I can't get past, and the last one has water I can't jump high enough to get out of. HELP PLEASE!
Beat it in 25 days on my first playthrough :D Seems like fairly linear paths that hit all the monsters, chests, potions, etc (NOT traps) are your best bet where possible.
In other news, HoopleDoople's franchise of Papa's Burgeria has been shut down by order of the health department. Apparently he started serving all but one of his customers plain raw hamburgers on a bun. To make matters worse, the chronically understaffed restaurant was lacking janitorial services...
A great game, but in desperate need of one minor change: when you or a human gets killed by a zombie, the retry button in the bottom right needs to work. It gets really old having to wait for the "Level Failed" screen to show up so that you can retry.
SURVIVAL GUIDE! Work towards the following setup: first seven columns have 1 sticky block on the bottom except for 1 or 2 with eye blocks instead; last column has (from bottom to top) booster, piercing x2, booster x2. Make sure you have 20% souls damage bonus on the sword, and you'll do massive damage in no time. To help save souls, sell blocks before bosses pass over them and then rebuild.
PERFECT FINAL LEVEL SETUP! First seven columns have 1 sticky block on the bottom. Last column have the following from bottom to top: booster block, piercing block x2, cannon block x2.
