There's a sweet spot in level 25 where you can release the ball and just let it bounce 99 times without moving the mouse again. Much easier than trying to catch it.
Maybe it's the far-distant future. Hyper-inflation has run rampant, but uranium is laughably inexpensive due to some radioactive meteor and people just can't burn up the stuff fast enough.
Having a lot of fun with this game! As a suggestion, though, perhaps all numbers should be displayed to 3 decimal places including trailing zeros. It's a bit distracting for the length of a text display to keep changing when it goes from, say, "Heat: 6.1M" to "Heat: 6.127M".
I also think that it's a bad idea to have different shops in the same town offer different prices for your goods. It gives the wrong idea about the supply and demand in the town, and adds an extra step to selling items that really isn't necessary.
The screen really moves around too much when you move the mouse, I think. It's very difficult to focus on any point of the map when it moves like that.
