This game is so close to being brilliant. I just can't get over the tediousness of some of the tasks, and the ridiculously slow pace. Leveling up speed stat doesn't fix the problem either.
I think a periodic percentage earnings on money you haven't spent yet (like interest from a bank) might be a really cool feature. Admittedly it might imbalance your gameplay a little, so it's probably a lot more work than I'm giving credit, but it could make for a really interesting dynamic between spending and saving and add a bit more depth to gameplay. Just an idea.
Maybe think about adding some depth to the enemy types. Something like an armor rating or resistance to magic, this way the choice of who you level up first could be more strategic. It might add a bit more challenge without taking away from the fun of the gameplay. More of the boss fights would be nice too.
We're actually experimenting with this functionality right now. We'll roll out something similar as soon as we know how it re-blanaces the gameplay.
